Anu has previously held positions with Yodlee, Sun Microsystems, Tandem Computers, and Hewlett-Packard. Dinesh Bajaj

Dinesh is an IIT Delhi engineer who worked in Silicon Valley for large companies like Nortel Networks, IBM and Siemens. He was also part of the management team on several startups that were later acquired by public companies. Currently he is involved in managing a portfolio of properties that he has acquired over the years. The most important and significant part of his life has been involvement with ICCs Seniors Program in Cupertino. He got involved with this program in 1999 through the older organization ICSC which was later merged with ICC. He has managed Cupertino center for last 12 years. He was also involved with a youth program called SEVA at the Fremont temple which focused on creating a spirit of service in IndoAmerican high schoolers. Dinesh believes strongly in uniting the Indian community for higher purposes rather than complaining and infighting. His other passion is Tennis which he plays everyday. He is married to Asha who has had a very successful practice in Physical Therapy. He has a son and a daughter who have good careers in Education. His love of life is three grandsons with whom he shares his love for Indian way of life.

While at IIT-D, he was an early member of the team at Parsec Technologies, the first company to build and market Interactive Voice Response systems in India. Vivek lives in San Francisco with his wife Pallavi and son Viplav and is a co-author of Data Driven: Harnessing Data and AI to Reinvent Customer Engagement, published in 2018.

Winston Ibrahim is Co-Founder & CEO of Hydros. The company is dedicated to providing sustainable high quality consumer hard goods as well as to fighting the global water crisis. Ibrahim is also Co-Founder of the Ibrahim Leadership and Dialogue Project in the Middle East, a pioneering effort to develop a generation of U.S. leaders sensitive to inter-cultural understanding. He also serves on the Board of the Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC), an organization that works to engage religious diversity by building interfaith cooperation on college and university campuses. Winston is also a founding member of the NationSwell Council, a media company with the mission to tell the story of American Renewal. Prior to Hydros, Ibrahim worked as an investment banking analyst at Janney Montgomery Scott in Philadelphia. He received his Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University.

Anuradha Jagadeesh is the co-chair of Sevathon 2016 and has been one of the founding members of Sevathon. She shares the passion to empower the community and to support new non-profits with the committee leads and volunteers. She has been spearheading Sevathon efforts since its launch. Ash Chopra is Managing Director within the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch. Ash was recently recognized as a top advisor in Forbes’s inaugural America’s Top Wealth Advisors 2016. Ash graduated with an MBA from University of Michigan’s Ross Business School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Before that, Ash earned two engineering degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Kettering University, Michigan. He attended St. Stephen’s College for his undergrad.

Kanwal Rekhi is the Managing Director of Inventus Capital Partners, an early stage Venture Capital firm. With Inventus, Kanwal works closely with entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and India, as he has since 1995, to apply his full time and energy helping them accomplish a great result. He also co-founded The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE) to promote Indian entrepreneurship and is currently a trustee on the global board of TiE. Kanwal earned a BSEE from IIT-Bombay and an MSEE and Honorary Doctorates in both Business and Engineering from Michigan Tech. KIRTI KALRA

Kirti Kalra is currently Partner at The Chugh Firm’s Northern California office. He joined the firm in 2008 and works with both, the Immigration and the Litigation Practice Groups. He has extensive experience in immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions. Kirti received his J.D. from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in California and his B.A., in English from UC Irvine. Mihir holds an M.B.A. from University of Chicago, M.S. in chemical engineering from University of Houston, and a B.S. in chemical engineering from University of Florida.

NAHID ALINIAZEE

Nahid Aliniazee is a philanthropist and community activist. She is currently Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of Indian Muslim Relief and Charities (IMRC), member of the Corporate Board at Northwest Suburban College in Illinois, and Co-Chair of the Muslim Youth Community Center of the West Valley Muslim Association. Ms. Aliniazee previously served on the Board of Trustees of Islamic Networks Group (ING). He also held senior positions in strategy, marketing, technology and finance with large companies including State Street Bank, and Fidelity Investments. In addition, Pervinder served as CTO for two successful startup companies. Talat Hasan is currently the General Partner of Hitek Venture Partners, a venture capital firm specializing in early-stage technology companies. Talat has been a technologist and entrepreneur for over two decades. She founded Prometrix Corporation in 1983 and Sensys Instruments in 1996 to market products for the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Both companies achieved successful exits. Talat holds a Master’s degree in Physics from Oxford University, UK and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Aligarh Muslim University. VIKAS POKALA

Vikas is currently leading Product Operations for consumer electronic devices at Google. Over the past 10 years he has held various operations and engineering positions at Google and Apple helping ship many different products such as phones, wearables, AR/VR, home automation, and more. This has enabled him to travel around the world on business trips to meet and work with suppliers. He holds an MBA degree from The University of Texas at Austin, a MS Electrical Engineering degree from USC, and a BS Computer Engineering degree from UC Irvine. He immigrated to the US at age 3 and grew up in the bay area, but lived in southern California for 6 years while attending undergrad and masters, and lived in Texas for 5 years while working at IBM and attending business school. He has been happily married for 10 years and lives in Willow Glen with his wife. He enjoys traveling abroad, learning about history, and enjoying wine. He is a newcomer to the game of golf which provides a safe way to social distance with friends and get fresh air during COVID-19 enforced shutdown

Vishal Sinha

Vishal Sinha is the VP of Engineering at Nutanix, an Enterprise Cloud Computing company. He is responsible for Nutanix Files, Nutanix Insights (Big Data Platform & Analytics), File Analytics, Cloud Mobility, and Nutanix Health Service (NCC) teams! Before Nutanix, he led the Enterprise Networking Group at Brocade which comprised of SW developers, Functional verification and Sustaining Engineers. Product portfolio included SX Chassis product family, ICX Data Center and Enterprise product family, and TurboIron Top-of-the-rack. Vishal is passionate about technology and its use to cure serious illnesses. He is also an advisor to early-stage startups. Vishal received his MBA from UC Berkeley, MS from the University of Minnesota, and B. Tech in Computer Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering.
